  • How do I know if I need therapy?
    • If you are facing challenges that feel overwhelming, affecting your daily functioning, or if you simply want to gain better self-awareness and coping skills, therapy can be beneficial.
  • What should I expect in the first session?
    • The first session is an intake, where we will discuss what brought you to therapy, your history, and your goals, helping us establish a comfortable rapport.
  • Is what I say in therapy confidential?
    • Yes, all sessions are confidential. Exceptions only occur if there is a threat of harm to yourself or others, or as required by law.
  • How long do sessions last and how often do we meet?
    • Individual sessions typically last 45-60 minutes, usually scheduled weekly or bi-weekly depending on your needs.
  • Do you offer virtual/tele-health sessions?
    • Yes, we offer secure, HIPAA-compliant tele-mental health sessions for your convenience (Zoom).
  • Do you take insurance?
    Aetna, Anthem/Elevance, BCBS, Cigna/Evernorth, Coventry, Optum/UBH, Oscar Health, and UMR and/or private pay options, includingcredit cards and HSA/FSA cards, are accepted.
  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
    • Please notify me at least 24-48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?
    • It is important to feel a connection. I offer a free initial consultation (15 minutes) to see if our approaches align.
